About Me
Hi! I'm Dani Reed, owner of Mind Over Maternity, LLC. I'm a highly qualified DONA certified birth doula, serving Utah and Salt Lake counties. I have had a passion and natural aptitude for pregnancy, labor and birth, since the age of 16. I employ a practical, evidence-based, but empathetic approach to maternal support. I believe in a healthy balance between modern medicine and natural methods, and that birth is a normal, physiologic event deserving of respect and trust. My objectives as a doula are to educate, support and enable you, as my client, to achieve your ideal birth. I look forward to a future career as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
I'm a devoted wife and mother to 5 children, who bring me so much joy, and plenty of challenges, too! Some of my hobbies include reading, eating good food, sleeping in, travel, and dating my husband.
